Our Services
We go where people are. Every other Sunday, our volunteers head out into the community with food, essentials, and something harder to hand out: the sense that somebody showed up on purpose.
Street outreach is the front door to everything else we do. Before anyone fills out a form or walks into a job fair, somebody has to make contact. That is what these Sundays are for.
Our volunteers bring meals, water, hygiene kits, and clothing directly to the people who need them. No intake process. No paperwork. No conditions. Just a conversation and whatever we have in the truck.
Those conversations are how people find out about our job fairs, our resource events, and the services we can connect them to. Showing up consistently is what makes the rest possible.
Why It Matters
People experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles County
Living unsheltered — on the street, in vehicles, or in tents

Moments from recent outreach runs across Southern California.
You do not need experience, training, or a special skill set. You need a couple of hours on a Sunday.
Fill out the volunteer form and let us know you are interested in street outreach. We will add you to the list and reach out ahead of the next run.
Outreach runs Sunday mornings starting at 10:00 in Downtown LA. Two teams rotate, so there is a run roughly every other week. We send the exact meeting spot to everyone on the volunteer list beforehand, and post it on our social channels.
Meet us at the spot, grab supplies, and go. Bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and come ready to talk to people.
Every kit we hand out and every mile we cover comes from someone who decided to help. Give your time, or give what you can.

Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or walk with us at the 5K — there's a place for you in this community. Paul built Pauly's Project on the belief that everyone has something to give.
